Juvéderm Cost

Juvéderm treatments can vary widely in cost depending upon the formulation of the gel used, the qualifications of the physician performing the procedure and where it is being done. Typically Juvéderm costs range between $300 and $1200 per syringe – in other words, much less expensive than an invasive surgical cosmetic procedure.

The smaller the area being treated, the less product will be used – thus, the lower the cost to you. Treating the fine crow’s feet around your eyes will be less expensive in most cases than treating deep smile lines, which may require one to two syringes of a denser Juvéderm product at approximately $450 to $600 per syringe.

Juvéderm is an elective cosmetic procedure, which means that in the vast majority of cases, it will not be covered by your insurance plan. Many physicians will work with you to provide financing options and payment plans, however. For some patients the cost of a Juvéderm treatment may be a tax-deductible medical expense (please consult your tax preparer for details).

In order to ensure the best deal, phone the offices of some Juvéderm treatment providers in your area and compare prices. Keep in mind, however, that cosmetic procedures are not the place to impose false economies. A physician who performs dozens of Juvéderm treatments in a single month is a better option than a physician who performs only a handful of procedures per year, even if the former’s fee is a few hundred dollars more. This is your body, after all.
